Meditation – ASMR – Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response
ASMR is a relaxing, often sedative sensation that begins on the scalp and moves down the body. It can initiate head tingles, relaxation, sleepiness, and elevated mood, comfort, calmness, peacefulness, happiness, and euphoria, it promotes the release of feel-good hormones like oxytocin.
There have been many examples of how ASMR can help relieve insomnia, anxiety and depression but there is, as yet, little scientific evidence as to why.
Insomnia is an inability to fall asleep or to stay asleep; anxiety is extreme stress; and depression is a deep sadness. All of these situations have a clinical diagnosis, but clinical treatments are often unsuccessful, whereas alternative therapies are often found to be really helpful – particularly meditation.
ASMR induces sleepiness, comfort, relaxation, decreased stress, and elevated mood and holds great promise for people suffering from insomnia, anxiety, and depression.
The benefits of ASMR have not been scientifically established yet but will hopefully be revealed in the near future by appropriate medical research. Studies are on-going and the feedback from all our fans on this channel will be really helpful in collating sufficient data to convince sceptics and help other sufferers.
This spine-tingling video is made with a stunningly beautiful, blended soundtrack to activate the pineal gland for pure ASMR effects throughout the body.
The whispering music enhances the senses, creating metaphysical sensations of silvery sparkles which release negative energy and the vibrations emanate a tranquil feeling of wellbeing.
