Meditation – ASMR healing frequencies
What is ASMR?
The term ‘Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response’ is used to describe previously undocumented sensations experienced by some people when listening to certain sounds.
People have varying reactions to ASMR and some have no reaction at all. Most people describe it as a pleasant, often intense tingling sensation that begins at the back of the head and travels down the spine, often accompanied by a euphoric feeling. The sensation is deeply relaxing and often sleep-inducing.
ASMR promotes the release of feel-good hormones like oxytocin which induce positive sensations – comfort, calmness, sleepiness, peacefulness, happiness, and euphoria – and many people have found relief from pain whilst listening to our tracks.
Research is ongoing and, as yet, there is little scientific evidence for the positive sensations experienced – so we can’t give you any scientific facts – but we can tell you what our listeners say:
